Need 2 names for characters in my novel?

i think her name should be something like Violet or Rose maybe even Lilly. If not a name like that i think her name should be Samantha. I dont know whyy but I've always liked that name. For the guy i think it should be something very plain nothing to odd. I think it should be Josh. I really like the names Samantha and Joshua together.. if thats what you would pick for the couple. If not Josh, maybe Danny maybe even Michael. :)
