Girls, would you date a guy like me?

You sound like a great guy that just hasn't found the right girl yet. You're young; don't give up yet! I have had a similar problem with finding guys. I have found that when I stop looking so hard and focus on other parts of my life, things kind of fall into place. Focus on getting ready for Marine Corp boot camp for right now, and when you have down time, go out with friends. Branch out and meet people; some of the best relationships come from friends of friends. Go places that are related to your interests; meeting someone there will give you something in common and something to start with. Set out to make friends and let these feelings for someone develop on their own. Nice guys and nice girls have a hard time getting dates when they're young, for some reason, but that will change.
